Verbs: Present

The Present Overview

Present Power Rules

Do, be and have forms are about facts.

We use these forms unless we have a special reason not to use them.

Do-ing forms are about ongoing processes or activities. It has started but not finished.

We use distant forms to distance our ideas from reality and to be formal.
