On YouTube, social media and in the blogosphere, there has been a lot of angst and doom mongering about this chat bot, as well as schemes how to use it to make a quick buck. Lawyers, doctors and artists now feel threatened by AI when they had previously thought that their highly skilled and credentialed jobs would be safe and the people most at risk would be in the lower orders.

The page for high school teachers has been updated with three sample C1 academic essays, a book review (and a version with tasks) and a revised review of an adaptation of the Lord of the Rings, again with a version with tasks.
The Academic Writing page has been updated with three sample research essays.
The Presentation Skills page has been updated.
A new page about One Slide Presentations has been created.
In this thought I consider if a teacher should try to develop industrial type tests, or do something else.
